The question
I am 14 years old and will turn 15 on November 22. I am a student and attend school normally. I am registered with a football club and train regularly. My father wants me to stop playing football completely, but I want to continue training while maintaining my studies. Does Egyptian law give me any right or provide any legal procedure that would allow me to continue playing football, or allow a court to consider my wishes and best interests regarding continuing my training despite my father’s refusal? And if I turn 15, does the legal situation change?
